There doesn't seem to be an easy way to do that, unfortunately. If you tag someone in an update or send them a personal message, they will be emailed, so long as they have notifications enabled, but there's no way to do that for postings.

the second piece i wrote tonight at Kali's "Writing with the Awen" group. It is amazing how people can inspire, and connect with, each other, especially once "the channels are open"!

thanks amber. it was great having five acoustic guitars to back me! phil came in with ten minutes practice, he is a natural...it was memorable as well to have my old friend andy there, we haven't played together for about 20 years and twilight zone was a song we wrote together (my words & melody, his tune). i actually got the words to one line wrong, but saved it by changing the next line as well! i'm going to post the words up here and on fb. i did really enjoy the performance (without having to compete), whereas the mc-ing was tough because everything was so changeable with times, etc, esp. on the Trials night.

A stunning piece and I loved your performance of it, it really showed how much you have blossomed and come into your own on your journey of being chaired bard. You seemed very confident and charismatic singing songs with the band, a born rock star!! It was very entertaining. You looked like you were enjoying it so much too, which really helped the magical energy of the piece come across. I was quite blown away by it!! Another song that really stuck in my mind was the "twilight Zone", I could certainly identify with that one!

i love the lyricality of this & to me, this is both Bardic and suggestive of "the old country" without being overly Celtic in references...(discuss)!

Wonderful to read this, I was hoping you would post it up. Seeing you perform it left me astonished and rather breathless, I think my jaw dropped wider and wider as it went galloping along it the usual frantic Wes style, connecting all sorts of previously unrelated things in a quite amazing way which makes you look at them from a different perspective and also laugh a lot!! Very geminian! I did suspect as much! I really love the serious "moral" of the story at the end, and the wise words at the beginning, a wonderful reminder when we all seem to be running after our own personal "fool's gold" in one way or another

I also found out in the course of my research for this piece that there is a type of cuckoo in Australia whose song is upside-down. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GoBlkaGJk4s (clearly the uploader of this clip is not a fan).
